Be it for the logistics industry or other service industries, route optimization is crucial and offers many benefits like the most cost-effective routes, improved safety, enhanced customer experience, improved driver morale and productivity, more deliveries/pickups per day etc.
We developed a route optimization algorithm model that provides ETA based on previous and current traffic conditions, maximum time to finish all delivery. The user has the option of using the map for getting complete address or you can enter directly in field. The user inputs corresponding quantity of order received from destination. There is an optional field that allows you to set maximum time of delivery for a particular destination point, can be used for setting priority. The algorithm factors in name of vehicle for identification, maximum carrying capacity of orders, mileage of vehicle and type of vehicle (Petrol/Diesel) for cost calculation.
