Job Description
- Strong expertise in Fivetran, including:
- Connectors: Configuring and managing Fivetran connectors to efficiently extract data from various sources.
- Transformations: Developing data transformations using SQL to cleanse, manipulate, and enrich data for analysis.
- Configurations: Optimizing Fivetran pipelines for performance and reliability.
Responsibilities include:
- Leverage Fivetran to automate data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the target data warehouse.
- Collaborate with team to understand data requirements and design data pipelines that meet the needs.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality, consistency, and timely delivery.
Certifications :
- Bachelors in computer science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Desirable to have cloud certifications in Data, Analytics, or Ops/Architect.
Primary Skills :
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines.
- Woking knowledge of ETL and Data Platforms with SAP data (SAP being the source for OLAP)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to data quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong expertise in Fivetran, including:
- Connectors: Configuring and managing Fivetran connectors to efficiently extract data from various sources.
- Transformations: Developing data transformations using SQL to cleanse, manipulate, and enrich data for analysis.
- Configurations: Optimizing Fivetran pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data wrangling, manipulation, schema design.
Secondary Skills :
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
- Experience with data governance and security practices is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Git version control.
