Job Description
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance roles, specifically in data testing and validation
- Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and practices applied to data systems, with a focus on Snowflake and data-related technologies.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and schema design.
- Experience in designing and executing test strategies for data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations within Snowflake.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation and testing in Snowflake environments.
- Hands-on experience with data quality tools, test automation frameworks, and version control systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and test plans for data systems, focusing on Snowflake and related technologies.
- Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to define test requirements and ensure data quality throughout the data lifecycle.
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations in Snowflake.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data sets for comprehensive data testing.
- Automate data testing processes to improve efficiency and scalability of QA efforts.
- Monitor data quality metrics and collaborate with teams to address and resolve data issues.
Certifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB), data management, or cloud technologies are a plus but not mandatory
Primary Skills :
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance roles, specifically in data testing and validation
- Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and practices applied to data systems, with a focus on Snowflake and data-related technologies.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and schema design.
Secondary Skills :
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, especially those integrated with Snowflake (e.g., AWS, Azure,GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data quality issues.
